Solas WR014 Impeller Tool for Yamaha 155mm & 160mm Pump Applications

The Solas WR014 Impeller Tool is a precision installation and removal tool designed for Solas YS Dynafly and Concord impellers used on Yamaha personal watercraft equipped with 155mm and 160mm pump systems with the larger 25mm driveshaft.

This specialty tool fits directly into the front of compatible Solas impellers, allowing safe and proper removal and installation of the impeller from the pump shaft without damaging the impeller or driveline components.

The WR014 tool is commonly used with Solas YS Dynafly, YS Concord, and YV Concord impellers found on Yamaha FZS, FZR, SHO, SVHO, FX, VX, and GP1800 models. It is also compatible with newer Yamaha SVHO applications using Solas YV Concord impellers and 160mm pump systems.

Manufactured from durable high-strength materials, the WR014 impeller tool is ideal for routine maintenance, impeller upgrades, pump rebuilds, and performance installations.

The WR014 impeller tool is commonly included free with many new compatible Solas impeller purchases but is also available separately as a replacement or spare tool.

For easier installation and removal, Impros also recommends purchasing the WR014H Driveshaft Holding Tool to securely hold the shaft during service.

How do I change the impeller in my craft?

Impros has complete impeller installation instructions for Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki and Polaris PWC. See Impeller Installation instructions for the person that likes to get in there and do things themselves.

Does Impros balance each impeller they service?

Yes. Each and every impeller that we service is checked for accurate balance within 2/10ths of a gram. Slight rock damage and especially with impellers requiring weld, checking the balance is absolutely required with PWC impellers. Sometimes we’ll find new impellers out of balance right out of the box. We balance each impeller as the finish is applied, eliminating any chance of throwing it out of balance during the polishing process. These measures are proudly taken to insure our customers the highest quality impeller repair available. Ask our competition if and how they balance impellers, we’ve found that they typically rely on the original factory balance.

Does Impros use correct pitching techniques specific to each brand of impeller?

Yes, Impros is proud of our ability to pitch each brand impeller to the manufacture’s specific range of blade angle variation. Impros has a master gauge for every stainless-steel impeller made, assuring an accurate pitch and uncompromised performance, eliminating common guesswork. Each and every manufacturer builds the impeller geometrically different from one another and gauges the outer blade angle in a different way. Only a company with experience will accurately understand, manipulate and repair the blades of the impeller to its original state.
