Pump Shaft Modification
OEM Kawasaki Ultra 250/260 Pump Shaft Modification. Impros can modify your 2007-2009, and your 2010 OEM Kawasaki pump shaft to help reduce costly damage caused with bearing failure. The modification includes single-point threading the rear end of your shaft on a CNC lathe, and adding a stainless steel nut and washer.
Price to modify your shaft is $89.00   Please allow 7 day turnaround for service to your shaft.

For quicker service, we also sell modified shafts here… http://impros.com/store/index.php/pumps-parts/pump-accessories/shafts-bearings-seals.html

Note: This pump shaft modification is intended as a preventative measure only, in an effort to help reduce costly engine damage sometimes caused upon pump bearing failure. This shaft modification may limit the shaft from "thrusting" forward and allowing the drive assembly to hit the crank. With this nut in place, the rear bearing may also share the load with the front bearing. Impros is not guaranteeing against such engine/driveline damage that may result, even after installing this modification, therefore we are not guaranteeing anything, or take any responsibility. Please purchase and install at your own discretion. With respect to others that have spent countless hours in an effort to cure this bearing issue and many other aspects of maximizing performance and durability on the 250/260, we encourage you to visit www.250xtech.com . Keith Salles, and the guys over at that site dedicated specifically to helping fellow U250 owners, have been key in finding this preventative measure.

Pump Flow Service
Impros pump flow service is a process or machining and smoothing the inefficient casting flaws and obstructions found within the vanes of the stock pump. The more efficient the pump flows, the more performance you get out of your Kawasaki Jet Ski.
Price to flow your pump is $100.00    Please allow 7 day turnaround for service to your pump.

U250 Impeller Modification
We offer a few different impeller modifications for the stock Ultra 250 impeller that increases performance.
Stock ski- Our impeller mod for a stock/lightly modified ski is designed to maximize top speed of the ski and has shown gains from approximately 1-2 mph. This modification requires extensive reworking of the impeller, and is $125.00
Modified ski- We also offer an impeller modification designed for an Ultra 250 with mods such as the timing modification, and pulley kit. This impeller modification not only helps reduce spinning upon take-off (common after similar mods), but increases volume through the pump resulting in 1-2 mph top speed gain, and slightly reducing engine rpm. This impeller modification is typically $75.00.
Impeller mod pricing can vary, depending on the condition of the impeller sent to us. Impellers with worn diameters, or heavy rock damage will be slightly more expensive.

Replace Bearings/Seals in Pump
Many customers send us their pump unit to be completely rebuilt. One of the most critical aspects of rebuilding the pump is replacing the old worn bearings and seals with new parts. We use OEM Kawasaki parts only. Parts are additional. Please contact us for current parts pricing     Labor- $70.00

Vane Damage Repair
When rocks or debris get drawn through the pump, it not only damages the impeller, but typically breaks chunks out of the vanes behind the impeller before exiting through the nozzle. When the vanes become broken, the pump run inefficiently. The result is excessive cavitation, mostly noticeable upon take off. We weld the damage to the vanes, and regrind them to back into shape. This service varies in price, because some vane jobs have more damage than others, but it is typically in the range of $100.00-$150.00.

 Stainless Steel Pump Liner Replacement
This service entails cutting out the old, damaged or worn stainless steel liner, and replacing it with a new stainless steel sleeve. The inside diameter is the same as an original one, and with a good impeller and vanes, the pump will now perform efficiently again. Please allow 10 days for this service. Price is $250.00
